Is It Safe to Take Healthy Doses of Ritalin to Study for Exams?
Question by Dan: Is it safe to take healthy doses of Ritalin to study for exams?
I have heard of students taking Ritalin pills before exams to increase their productivity and cognitive speeds, thus leading to a much higher test result, than they would with out it. I am in no way trying to get a hold of this illiagal drug, or use it for said purposes, im just asking for your opinons on this topic. So what are the side effects? What is the “bad” side of taking this drug?
Thanks – Dan.

you are not going to die. there are negative effects but you will be able to focus better and study more effectively. the bad side effects include dry mouth, racing heart beat, irregular heart beat, sharp pain in your organs and stomach, no desire to eat, teeth grinding. its basically brain steroids. they are also addicting and you feel like a cocaine addict when they wear off (your body feels heavy and painful, you want more, you are pissed off)
do not over do it but i see no problem with taking a small appropriate dose to help out. do not take it if you have something big to do after the test, you are going to feel like crap.
