Question by C S: a 28yr old female has a stroke, what could be the cause?
Out of no where today my cousin had a stroke. What could be the cause? She did do a little drinking and drugs like pot,coke and pills but I am not sure which ones she took.

Cocaine can cause ischemic stroke. Cocaine causes constriction (closure) of the arteries which leads to oxygen deprivation to the tissue and can cause stroke and heart attack.
There are medical conditions aside from drug related that can cause stroke in a young person such as conditions which cause increased blood clotting.

DRUG ABUSE, THERE IS A REASON THAT IT IS DUMB TO DO DRUGS. THERE WAS A COMMERCIAL ” THIS IS YOUR BRAIN ON DRUGS” SHOWED A FRIED EGG. WELL THATS THE CHANCE YOU TAKE WHEN YOU THINK THAT ” DRUGS ARE IT”. DEPENDS ON WHAT PILLS BUT GUESS WHAT SHE DID IT, DOESN’T MATTER WHAT STUPID COMBINATION SHE DID, SHE TOOK DRUGS AND NOW SHE PROBABLE WILL SPEND THE REST OF HER LIFE WATCHING LIFE PASS HER BY. TO BAD TO SAD.

DRUGS KILL, AND IT KILLED YOUR COUSINS BRAIN.
