How to Make My Alcohol Addiction Presentation Interesting?
Question by ?kittylover?: How to make my alcohol addiction presentation interesting?
I have to do a presentation on a topic that affected me in my life. My dad was an addict but now he doesn’t drink anymore and hopefully he wont anymore.
I have to present on monday for 7 minutes! Two girls presented today and it was really good and very interesting. Their topics were narcotics control and Child abuse. Of course those topics are interesting and easy to find things to talk about.
I think my presetation will be boring.
How can I make alcohol addition presentation interesting? Any facts, clues, tips?

I just recently saw some “before and after” shots on the news in regards to drug abuse. Maybe if you run a search on “before and after alcoholics” you might hit on something. The pictures of the drug abuse I saw were absolutely appalling, given some of the pictures had captions stating what the person did for a living, and how long it took to reach what we would call ROCK bottom. I think it would provide a nice visual effect for your presentation, and would definitely spark conversation.

A little anecdote thrown in might help you.
You can be the teacher and demonstrate.
(Teacher) preaching on the effects of alcohol.
Holds up two glasses, one with water the other with alcohol.
Drops a worm into each – the worm in alcohol dies, the one in water lives.
“Now, what does that prove to you?”
Voice from the back of the class ….
“If you drink alcohol, you’ll never get worms!”
