i have to write 3 pages on this topic “You are given an assignment to determine substance abusing patterns at a local high school. You are asked to gather information from the student body. How would you go about conducting such research? Explain what type of research methodology would you use and why?”. How would i answer it? or even start i mean i was thinking a questionaire or survey but how can i explain it is 3 pages. Help please?

Poll- How common do you think abuse is among your school on a rating of 1 to 3? 1 being not very common three being you hear about it all the time/very common.
Surveys, Questionares.
You surveyed 3 types of races at the school
You asked them about their socioeconomic background
Any family history of drug, alcohol abuse
Do they come from broken homes, divorced parents

Open Ended Question:Whats the reason they have ever done substance abuse?

What kind of patterns do you think there are?
