Why Does the “excessive” Amount of Meds Given to Michael Jackson, Require an Indictment of Neglect or Murder?

Why does the “excessive” amount of meds given to Michael Jackson, require an indictment of Neglect or Murder?
.
Yes — What he was given – was excessive for the average person, but not for someone who has built-up a tolerance to it.
According to E! News –
Between 1:30am-7:30am –
MJ was given –
10mg Valium (long acting; not much)
2 mg intravenous Ativan (same as Xanax; short half-life; intravenous is “moot”)
2 mg Versed – (an ultra short-acting benzodiazepine derivative)
— then the last 2 repeated, as so —
2 mg Ativan
2 mg Versed – (an ultra short-acting benzodiazepine derivative)
— then the Anesthetic, which apparently he took frequently.
While Benzos (Ativan, Valium, Versed) CAN suppress respiration —
He would not have been given each dosing, throughout the night, unless he was unable to sleep — total addiction & tolerance.
MQ — Is it possible this was his nightly routine ( which may have had a tolerance for; and “survived” before?)
MQ2 — Could his Heart & Lungs been affected by his Concert Rehearsal — altering his tolerance.
MQ3 — Could his vitals have been “fine” — and suddenly he went into MI (Arrest?)
My point is — We do not know his “nightly history” with these meds.
…and just because this doses “seem” abnormal by the “pundits” — how do we know?
Different people react differently?
( Yes — I have years of experience taking Benzos… )
I do not advocate them on a regular basis — but different people have dramatically different tolerances.
P.S. — All Meds (including Aspirin) have potential for adverse effects, depending on the individual.

biggiant — thanks for your reply.
There is no proof that to MJ, those meds were excessive.
That may have been his nightly routine.
We have not heard the whole story.
Thanks 🙂

I cannot speak to the MJ case specifically; clearly he had a great tolerance for the drugs, and could live through much more than a normal person.
However, since death did occur, and apparently due to drug overdose, of course it has to be investigated. Whether there was murder, manslaughter, negligence, or accident remains to be figured out.
I would also take into account that MJ demanded these drugs; the doctor does not appear to have “pushed” them onto him.
