My co-worker whom happens to be a close friend does cocaine a lot and now started turning to clenbuterol. She knows it hurts me about her Coke problem and I worry, but I just sat back and minded my own business because shes gets very mad when people try to “help” her. We try to help, she sees it as us hurting her. But now the clen. It worries me. Does anyone know what could go wrong if she does this. And how can I help her without offending her? I dont know how to deal with people who do drugs. This is my only friend who does them. Please help!

Your friend is in severe denial, and there’s not one damned thing you can do for her. Tell her that her drug abuse is too stressful for you to deal with, that you can no longer support her ongoing efforts to kill herself, and can no longer be her friend until she decides to seek help for her addiction. If she flips out, that’s her problem. Don’t make it yours. Coke junkies live in their own world.

Clenbuterol is a drug prescribed to sufferers of breathing disorders as a decongestant. People with chronic breathing disorders like asthma use this as a bronchodilator to make breathing easier. Also referred to as Clen, people who abuse this drug typically do it for its slimming effects. It is a stimulant similar to ephedrine, only much longer-lasting. When taken daily, the abuser can lose up to ten pounds in two weeks. Combining this drug with Cocaine will (not could) prove deadly, it could cause the heart to be overstimulated which will cause hear failure. The blood being thinned and the heart racing like that could cause an anurism, stroke, or other serious attacks of the brain, contact your local hospital and ask for a drug abuse hotline to get your friend some help immediately before it is too late.
