Actually it’s the same thing with a lot of things. The chemicals in drugs/alcohol aren’t what get you addicted it’s the chemicals already present in your brain, and your ability to resist temptation. Even incredibly infamous drugs like Methamphetamine are a drug which you can do without getting addicted. It’s just a strong and easily obtainable drug so it is the most renown. The scare provided by the government only adds to the ease of getting addicted to this, as when you’re told you’re constantly “just one time” etc, and not informed it really depends on yourself, you’re lead to believe that you will be addicted to thsi drug and it will end up happening.
So yes, like most things, you can say that those are things people can get addicted to. There is actually a rehab for World of Warcraft, even. And you forgot a very well known addiction, gambling.
