Do Standard Drug Hair Follicle Tests Also Detect Alcohol?

Question by Dennis: Do standard drug hair follicle tests also detect alcohol?
I got arrested awhile back for marijuana use and am currently on probation. The court sent me to a drug clinic where i give a urine sample every week to see if I’m clean. This only detects opiates,meth,MJ,cocaine, and benzos. Now i was told i were to go to a seperate facility to do a hair follicle test which cost 80$ and was wondering if alcohol were to show up? Now from the beginning i was told that i was to abstain from both drugs and alcohol and i do occasionally get breathalyzed. I guess i could assume that the follicle test would test for both drugs and alcohol, but i want to make sure.

QUESTION(S): are there different types of hair follicle tests, or does one detect them all? I’ve read that hair follicle tests cost more money and that made me believe it’s a different type of test.

NOTE: I have abstained from all drugs including alcohol, I’m just purely curious

No “standard tests”.
Can’t answer what test might be ordered.
Drug tests do not test for alcohol. Yep, there are different tests. Don’t understand the curiosity while abstaining from both.
