Part 1 of a Two-Part Series LORAIN — Illicit drugs are an equal opportunity killer all across Lorain County, as the overdose death toll tripled last year to 60, up from 22 in 2011. The victims’ ages ranged from 13 to 70. Seven of those deaths were in Lorain, but at least two were in Amherst.
