What are ways to ‘battle’ tobacco use and Weed/Hash/Oil”Other weed based drug abuse”
I recently took a vow with a buddy to quit ‘smoking anything’ period. My habit was 2 packs a day, 60-80$ a day in drugs.
I have this urge to purchase and use drugs/smokes. But this ‘urge’ is worse then having weed in a jar and going a day without touching it. The tobacco use doesnt seem to bother me i feel ‘edgy’ but i feel like that isnt an issue and i can over come tobacco use ‘Aslong as no one pisses me off or something’. But weed on the other hand i first used drugs when i was 9. and im 21 now and since 15 to 21 i was a everyday user id go on a 6 hour break if im like out and i forgot my stash at home. but other then that i’d light up a joint/bowl/blades whenever i had a smoke and it was pretty much hourly.
A friends mother of mine, Quit smoking tobacco products with the help of 7-11 Slurpee’s all day but i don’t enjoy them and i know id just get sick eventually off it. I have a month to beat this because i have a stressful job. I dont ‘take the work to heart’ but if im edgy and working construction i will blow off the handle on any mistake i’v had a fit once already by punching my airbags because i got in the car without noticing the rear hatch was open. So any idea on what would possibly help me for the first two weeks? Playing computer games/ps3 games wont help simply because situations in the game could cause me to get alittle moody. It’s winter so walking around the lake or a 15 minute walk every time i feel like smoking something wont help either(but could on nice days). i dont have any hobbies like sports or crafts.
What edibles or what stuff did you guys do to overcome any addiction/using abuse?
