Question by : Is there any alternatives to religion, psychiatry, superstition, escapism other than a skeptic mind?
I feel for some reason that a belief in utilitarianism, naturalism, and cautious objectivity counter/prevent the effects of anxiety, mental illnesses, hopelessness, and other addictions.

Not trying to be personal, just an observation on critical thinking as a survival tool.

I.E. figures like Thomas Jefferson or trained special forces members like Bear Gryllis, rather than Benjamin Franklin’s looseness or “die for my country” special forces
