How the hell did this movie get such good ratings? It’s not the type of batman I imagined at all….
At the end of the movie how does his bat aircraft take the nuclear bomb 6 miles away from the city in a matter of a minute? And wouldn’t the radiation just kill everyone? The rivers, clouds/rain would affect everything and air pollution….
Where are the cool batman villains? Where is poison ivy? Where is the riddler? Where is mr freeze? This batman was a wussy, and there was very less action I got bored..
Batmans suppose to have excellent detective skills, his suppose to do air kicks and summer saults, none of that was shown ?
Can’t wait for a reboot, hopefully someone does it right….
Also there is only one batman: BRUCE WAYNE !!! So don’t give me this crap about John Blake becoming batman in a sequel, that is utter nonsense, you must be on cocaine if u think that….

Six miles in a minute = 360 miles an hour. Which is fast, but the Bat is an experimental aircraft.

It’s a FUSION bomb, not a fission bomb. And it wasn’t built as a bomb – it’s a nuclear fusion reactor. So there would be no nuclear materials involved in it to begin with, and out to sea, there’s only water to “activate”. It might create some deuterium, but that is actually not that harmful. Considering the enormous dilution effect, there might be a minor rise in cancer cases…but nothing compared to the destruction of Gotham City’s urban center. In any case, an explosion over land would have created much more radioactive debris.

Poison Ivy and Mr.Freeze are both super-powered villains and those do not fit in the Nolan Batman universe. And after Heath Ledger, any version of the Riddler would just be the Joker-lite.

If you say so. It IS a more realistic version of what years of crimefighting do to someone’s body. The comics seem to think he is superhuman, and heals overnight. But if you go out like that every night, you are slowly destroying your body.

He got old. That simple. No man can be Batman forever. These are not comic books, you know. FYI, he’s not too big on air kicks and summersaults in the comics, either.

How old are you, 14? If you want comic books, pick up a comic book. Or watch a Marvel movie.

Dick Grayson took over from Bruce Wayne for years in the comic. Jean Paul Valley, too, and he was a lot more badass than him.
