Was I Dishonorably Discharged?

Question by Tyler: Was I dishonorably discharged?
I joined the Navy back in August of 2010 shortly after graduating from high school. My parents gave me the ultimatum of either join the military or get a job move out and pay for college on my own, and if anyone is familiar with the economic condition of California they know finding a job isn’t exactly easy. So I joined the Navy. My ship date was given to me as August 8th 2011, an entire year later. In this year I thought long and hard about the choice I had made and I felt I had made the wrong choice, I was tired of my parents putting me in situations in which i was given no other option but to do what they say. I wanted to be in control of my own life. I just felt the military was not the right thing for me. Anyway during this time I was in what is known as the delayed entry program. On July 8th 2011, I was called into the recruiting office for a drug screening. I knew I would be taking a drug test that day, so the day before I smoked some pot, and did some cocaine as well. I failed the drug test and was kicked out of the delayed entry program and ultimately from the Navy. What I am wondering is was I dishonorably discharged? I was never actually in the Navy, just the delayed entry program. I never went to boot camp or any of that. I didn’t have to sign any papers saying I was discharged or anything of the sort. My recruiter simply said sorry you cant be in the Navy bye. So can anyone help me, or give me any information on how I can find out whether or not i was discharged or just let go.

Thanks in advance, and please if you are going to just say something dumb don’t waste my time.
