Now weed is a plant that grows on earth. Someone please tell me some real reasons as to why weed is illegal? i mean cigarettes should be illegal, and weed should be legal. because cigarettes kill people by giving ’em lung cancer, but weed doesn’t do anything, it actually cures cancer as i know. why can’t ’em people who make the law make weed legal? seriously? why?

For one it has chemicals in it two its addictive and three it can cause hunger and uncontrolled eating.

Weed is illegal because hemp is FAR cheaper & easier to grow and harvest than cotton is, and after the abolition of slavery, US cotton farmers had to invest a FORTUNE in equipment to harvest and process cotton…they lobbied the US Congress, who obligingly outlawed hemp, since many of them also had financial interests in cotton farming…
